Tourism Malaysia entices Pinoys

TOURISM Malaysia recently held the second "Tara na sa Malaysia!" Travel Fair participated in by several state tourism boards, partner airlines and travel agencies offering amazing deals and packages created especially for Filipino travelers.

The travel fair, which ran from July 15-17, presented several high-spirited cultural performances, food demonstrations, as well as affordable packages of tours and other activities to mall-goers.

"The 'Tara na sa Malaysia!' Travel fair is more than just to showcase what Malaysia has in store for visitors from all over the world. Through this, we are personally inviting all Filipinos to come and visit Malaysia and explore its natural wonders, take part in colorful festivals, indulge in authentic Malay cuisine and experience a country that's truly Asia," said His Excellency Dato Seri Dr. Ibrahim Saad, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Philippines.

With the help of its partner travel agencies, Tourism Malaysia also created and introduced the 2011 Malaysia Holiday Packages brochure to further encourage Filipinos to visit Malaysia and experience all its wonders. Valid for travel until December 31, 2011, the packages include land arrangements to feature destinations such as Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi, Kota Kinabalu, Putrajaya, Malacca, Penang, various exciting theme parks, and the upcoming Malaysia MotoGP.
