Visitors flock to tourists destinations on holidays

The number of visitors to tourist destinations throughout the country rose sharply during the three-day holiday on the occasion of National Day (Sept. 2). 

Popular entertainment parks in Hanoi , particularly eco-tourist sites in Ha Tay district saw increases of 3-4 times in the number of holiday makers over normal weekend. 

Sa Pa district in northern mountainous Lao Cai province received almost 10,000 tourists. 

Central coastal Da Nang city welcomed 66,360 tourists during the period, a year-on-year rise of 20.4 percent. 

The hot weather in Ho Chi Minh City did not affect the flow of tourists. Suoi Tien and Dam Sen Parks each saw up to 170,000 visitors.
