Turkish Culture and Tourism Ministry also introduced “GoTurkey app” for technology enthusiasts to discover the most beautiful Turkish regions in augmented reality. Travelers can download the app for free either from Apple’s iTunes store or from Android market for free.

With the agreement Turkey expects to increase number of Chinese travelers visiting Turkey.
On the first day of the event, IPK International announced Global Travel Trends 2011/12. The main findings are that, compared with 2010, Europeans began travelling more again in 2011. However, data from the World Travel Monitor® 2011 reveals that results were still below the high level set in 2008. (Click here to read the trends)
