ARINC, a world leader in transportation communications and engineering has revealed plans to upgrade Vietnamese airports during a recent trade mission to the Asian nation.
The mission introduced ARINC to key industry stakeholders and ministries, keen to discuss and develop the aviation industry, according to Business Wire.
ARINC is currently bidding for a series of local projects, to enhance its business expansion plans.
“We are excited at the opportunity to enhance passengers’ experiences with Fast Travel and expand our VHF Data Link coverage to help airlines be more operationally efficient,” said Jim L. Martin, ARINC’s Managing Director for Asia Pacific Division.
U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam David Shear said now is the time for aviation expansion in Vietnam.
“Vietnam’s aviation industry is growing very significantly, and there are many opportunities for American companies like ARINC to be part of this growth in helping to modernize the country’s airports,” he said.
ARINC is currently providing and supporting the information technology systems at the International Terminal of Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City.
