G Adventures, the world’s adventure travel leader, is calling on the Australian travel industry to come together for the first ever staging of the global ‘Future of Tourism’ event in Melbourne on Wednesday, 18 April 2012.
As part of a global program of high level travel industry forecasting discussions, the ‘Future of Tourism’ event will explore the future of travel and sustainability, changing consumer demands and how sustainable tourism plays such a vital role in giving back to the places we visit.
‘The Australian travel industry is undergoing a period of rapid change. From the impact of a high Australian dollar, to changing consumer travel preferences there has never been a more worthy time than now to come together and talk about where the industry is heading,’ said Bruce Poon Tip, Founder, G Adventures.
Following successful ‘Future of Tourism’ events across North America and the UK, the upcoming Melbourne event will feature special video insights from internationally renowned Prof. David Suzuki, as well as lively discussions about the future of the travel industry and sustainable travel, with visionaries from across the tourism spectrum.
