AirAsia has re-launched services between Kuala Lumpur and Tianjin, following the temporary suspension of the route in November 2009.
The service will operate five-times weekly on the Airbus A330 aircraft with two-class configuration of 28 premium seats and 355 economy seats.
Kathleen Tan, Regional Head of Commercial of AirAsia Group said, "The Kuala Lumpur - Tianjin route was launched in April 2009, servicing direct flights to Tianjin as part of AirAsia?s strategic expansion plans in North China.
With a more economical A330 aircraft, combined with a better flight schedule, AirAsia will now offer its guests convenient ground transport access to connect from Tianjin to the Chinese capital Beijing and its other attractive neighbouring cities.
?The recommencement of the route is also timely with the upcoming Chinese New Year where guests would be able to reconnect with their families and relatives or even take a short holiday.?
To celebrate the relaunch, AirAsia is offering special online fares from as low as RM249 (all-in-fare) one way until 16 February 2010, for travel between 22 February to 31 May 2010.
