The director made 3 Key proposals for expanding tourism in the Eastern region. The first is to connect the neighboring countries in the Southern Economic Corridors (SEC) by giving more opportunities for Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand to visit each other, for economic growth. This proposal will require only a 5 million baht budget, and the 8 provinces in Eastern region will benefit from this idea.
The 2nd Proposal is to upgrade Language acquisitions for Thais, to be able to converse with the foreigners more effectively. This will also require 5 million baht to hire teachers to teach the people. The 3rd Proposal is to Create hubs for Movie Productions, which will also need a 5 million baht budget. Producing movies along the Southern parts of Thailand, in cooperation with Vietnam and Cambodia, is an outstanding idea, as the Eastern region is acknowledged as a beautiful district for films and photography. The Pattaya People Media Group has advocated the importance of creating a Pattaya International Film Festival, to boost Pattaya’s image and income.
