The post office, which opened yesterday, will open from 7am to 12pm during the six-month event from May 1 to Oct. 31.
Visitors could take photos inside the Expo site, and ask any service stand of the Shanghai World Expo Post Office to deliver the pictures to the post office, where they could be made into postcards, said Chen Xiaolu, head of the World Expo command center for Shanghai Post.
The post office would provide services in Chinese, English and sign language during the World Expo, which is expected to attract 70 million visitors.
