Foreign arrivals to Cambodia surged by 27%.

Cambodia had received close to 2 million foreign tourists in the first six months of this year, a 27% increase compared with the same period last year, showed a report released by the Ministry of Tourism.1

Of the total number of arrivals to Cambodia, 60 percent of the tourists or 1.06 million had visited the world heritage site - Angkor archeological park - in the Siem Reap province.

During this period, Vietnam was the biggest feeder market to Cambodia with 378,130 tourists, up 30 percent, followed by South Korea with 227,200 tourists, up 32 percent, and Chinese visitors at third with 151,890 tourists, up 33 percent.
