Commerce Min attends “9th China – ASEAN Expo”

BANGKOK, 27 September 2012 – The Commerce Ministry recently visited China to attend the “9th China – ASEAN Expo” or CAEXPO, where Thai products were exhibited.

Mr. Tikhumporn Natvaratat, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Foreign Trade, along with his entourage attended the China – ASEAN Expo, held in China during September 21-25. The event was the collaboration between China and the 10 ASEAN member countries.

The event has been held to promote products, services, investment, tourism, and meeting industries of each country, with China emphasizing most on the meeting industry. The event is also aimed at strengthening the relationship between China and ASEAN.

There were 2 Thai pavilions exhibited in the China – ASEAN Expo: Pavilion of Commodity Trade and Pavilion of Science and Technology Cooperation.
