Xiamen among list of top 10 hottest destinations in Golden Week

According to a survey conducted by the China Tourism Academy and ctrip.com for the upcoming National Day holiday, Xiamen ranks second amongst the top 10 hottest destinations for domestic holiday-makers. First place was taken by Sanya.
Beijing, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Xi’an, Jiuzhaigou, Qingdao, Guilin and Lijiang are the other eight popular cities which made the list.
For the outbound tourism market, the top 10 popular destinations were listed as: Hong Kong, Thailand, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Maldives, America and Cambodia.
The survey also released the results of two other lists, the top 10 tourist departure cities and the top 10 tourist arrival cities.
