Wirasak Iamphongsa, 40, is wanted by Japanese authorities for allegedly murdering a Japanese woman in Tokyo in 1993. Because Thailand has no extradition treaty with Japan, Wirasak will be prosecuted in a Thai criminal court, according to a senior police official.
