(Forimmediaterelease.net) It has been confirmed that the Pacific Area Travel Writers Association (PATWA) is organizing an International Seminar on “Green for Life, Green for Tourism” followed by PATWA International Awards Ceremony on March7, 2013 at 2:30 pm at Saal 9, ICC Building during ITB at Berlin. PATWA is also celebrating International Women’s Day during the PATWA International Awards. The program is expected to be attended by a large number of top professionals from hospitality and travel industry, diplomats and business professionals.
The invited speakers include Taleb Rifai, Secretary General, World Tourism Organization (UNWTO); Chiranjeevi Konidala, Minister of Tourism, India; Mohamed Hisham Abbas Zaazou, Minister of Tourism, Egypt; Mari Elka Pangestu, Minister for Tourism, Indonesia; Olga Kefalogianni, Minister of Tourism, Greece; Alain St. Ange, Minister of Tourism and Culture, Seychelles; Thong Khon, Minister of Tourism, Cambodia; Ahmed bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Mehrzi, Minister of Tourism, Oman; Ghassan Aidi, President, IH&RA; and Geoffrey Lipman, Director, Greenearth.travel.
PATWA is the leading travel writers’ organization representing members from all over the world. The aim of PATWA is to promote professional development of travel writing and travel communication, which will make invaluable contribution in the promotion of tourism.
