Hotel Eclat opens in Beijing

The 100-room up-scale Hotel Éclat Beijing opened Monday, welcoming its first guests and promises to be a haunt for art lovers visiting Asia.

The new hotel’s lobby features original works by Salvador Dali and is home to the artist’s largest collection in China, alongside works from Andy Warhol, Zeng Fanzhi and Chen Wenling.

Rooms are equipped to show 3D movies on 46″ TV screens and have iPod docks.

The Éclat Lounge, offers a private space on the glass bridge of the hotel building and serves as a dining venue for a buffet breakfast, canapés in the afternoon, light refreshments throughout the day and an à la carte selection of late-night snacks.

Located 30 minutes by car from Beijing Capital International Airport, the hotel is well positioned for visiting the city’s key cultural sites, for exploring the 798 art district and other Beijing neighbourhoods and for attending performances at the Beijing Concert Hall.

Hotel Éclat Beijing is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and is part of the Hong Kong Parkview Group, which operates hotels, serviced residences, offices and retail throughout Asia and Europe.
