Visitors urged to crash SeaWorld's surprise party

From 21 March 2014 all three SeaWorld Parks in the USA will begin 18 months of celebrations as they commemorate 50 years of entertaining and educating visitors on the wonders of marine life.
Guests visiting during the 18 months will be able to take advantage of new interactive experiences, more up-close encounters with marine animals, more shows, and chance meetings with street performers, such as the Surprise Squad.
From March, those visiting SeaWorld San Diego will be able to experience a new interactive entrance plaza called Explorer’s Reef which will transform the area near the existing front gate, replacing ticket booths with “a beach-themed, concierge-style” ticketing area.
According to SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment senior marketing officer Peter Frey, the three acre Explorer’s Reef will allow guests to begin their SeaWorld experience as soon as they enter the park as it will feature multiple touch pools, as well as new retail and dining amenities.
SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment are also committing to enhancing guests’ experiences through technology, parks soon launching interactive apps “that provide fun new ways to experience the park to new games and video content”.
