Taipei International Airport is launching a new Corporate Identity

TAIPEI- Last July, Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TTIA) designated a company to rebrand its image. The result was unveiled on December 19 with a modernized more colourful corporate logo emphasizing the name Taoyuan accompanied by a new tagline “Connecting the World with Heart”.

According to the new design, a ‘4T’ concept has been developed around four main values: The 4T meaning are
Taiwan,Taoyuan: Think globally, footing locally to the world.
Transfer: Eco-friendly environment, leading as an Asia-Pacific hub
Transform: Commit to innovation, keeping on progressing
Touching: Customer satisfaction, passing on passion and warmth .
Five more core values have been added to the tagline: Safety, Integrity, Professionalism, Innovation and Enthusiasm. The chairman of Taoyuan International Airport Company Cheng-Peng Yin indicated that Taoyuan International Airport Company has accomplished multiple milestones including earning the 3rd place award of the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) from Airports Council International (ACI). Airport is going to break an absolute historical record of 30 million passengers in a year by the end of 2013.

In the last few years, major improvement works were conducted at Taoyuan International Airport. The expansion and remodeling of Terminal 1 has been completed, significant improvement was also provided for transportation and facilities at the airport. Current expansion including the construction of a brand new passengers facility, Terminal 3, as well as an express rail link to Taipei City.

The improvement in the relations between Taiwan and Mainland China has also helped fueling a boom in traffic across the Taiwanese Strait. Further improvement in Taiwan attraction as a hub for East Asia is the integration of both home carriers into an alliance. China Airlines is now a member of Skyteam while Eva Air chose Star Alliance.

Taoyuan International Airport Company CEO Hong-Jung Fei highlighted to feel honoured to drive the airport into the path of success by participating to the airport infrastructure development. “The airport’s competiveness represents the competiveness of the country. I then hope that the ranking of Taoyuan International Airport will rise in every international rating with high level of satisfaction for passengers and staff”, he declared. The brand new CIS will help to turn Taipei as a reference hub for Asia.
