PG sets Chiang Rai fares

Bangkok Airways is discounting fares to support the launch of its latest service to Chiang Rai.
Valid for travel between March and June this year, the airline is selling a one-way fare, inclusive of airport taxes and surcharges, ex-Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi Airport), at Bt1,790 in V Class and Bt2,090 in Q Class. The same fares are valid ex-Chiang Rai.
Passengers can book fares until 28 February for travel during 28 March to 30 June this year.
Schedule to launch 28 March, Bangkok Airways will offer twice daily, nonstop flights, from Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) to Chiang Rai, the northernmost city in Thailand using a 162-seater Airbus A320 aircraft.
The morning flight, PG231, will depart Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi Airport) at 0735 and arrive in Chiang Rai at 0855. The return flight, PG232, will depart Chiang Rai at 0945 and arrive in the capital at 1105.
The evening flight, PG235, will depart Bangkok at 1805 and arrive in Chiang Rai at 1925. The return flight PG236 will depart Chiang Rai at 2010 and arrive in Bangkok at 2130.
All passengers of Bangkok Airways can enjoy lounge service at Suvarnabhumi a selection of free snacks and hot or cold drinks. There is also free Wi-Fi Internet access.
Bangkok Airways’ business class (Blue Ribbon Club) flyers, or passengers with FlyerBonus Premier Membership, can enjoy extra treats at the Blue Ribbon Club Lounge that offers hot meals, a shower room, massage parlour, as well as a library, which can also be used as a meeting room.
Bangkok Airways stands out from competition for its airport services such as lounges and snack corners that are open to all of its passengers. It will provide a food corner for passengers at the Chiang Rai Airport for the first two months before it opens a passenger lounge with full service.
