Jet Airways honoured at the prestigious BIAL Pinnacle Awards 2014

MUMBAI - Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, wins “On time Airline - Domestic” award, at BIAL Pinnacle Awards 2014 held in Bengaluru recently. The award was received by Mr. U Shenoy, General Manager Sales, South Central Region and Mr. Raghu Vancheeswaran, Airport Manager, Bengaluru , Jet Airways, in the presence of an august gathering of airport partners and industry professionals. The Pinnacle Awards 2014, instituted by Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL), is based on a structured selection process, that seeks to acknowledge and reward performance excellence amongst the various airport stakeholders.

A total of 155 nominations were submitted across various award categories: Airlines, Commercial, Cargo & Aviation Services, Vision-based and Honorary.

Jet Airways has been the recipients of several prestigious awards and amongst these are:

-‘Top 5 Airlines by Growth in Passenger Carriage’ and ‘Top 5 Airlines by Growth in Cargo Carriage’ through Changi Airport, in 2008. This was accorded at the annual Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore’s (CAAS) third annual Changi Airline Awards.
-“Best Long Haul Airline from Brussels” at the TM Travel Awards 2009 ceremony at Antwerp, Belgium.
