Low-cost, long-haul airline, Thai AirAsia X will operate direct flights from Bangkok (Don Mueang Airport) to Japan’s Tokyo Narita International Airport and Osaka Kansai International Airport starting 1 September.
Last week during a press briefing, airline CEO Nadda Buranasiri said the upcoming routes should help to boost tourism between Thailand and Japan.
“The upcoming direct flights will offer an alternative choice for Thais and Japanese tourists to travel between the two countries.”
Thai AirAsia X will operate daily flights from Bangkok (Don Mueang) to Tokyo’s Narita and five weekly flights to Osaka’s Kansai. It is the first flights to Japan offered out of Don Mueang Airport, which is now an international gateway airport low-cost airlines serving points in Asia. (Read More)
