Hong Kong Airlines free ski equipment checked baggage allowance exclusive for Business Class of Sapporo route

HONG KONG - Hong Kong Airlines' new five-time weekly service between Hong Kong and Sapporo, Japan will soon be launched on 19 December 2014. As the Bank of Japan is introducing additional monetary easing measures, the Japanese Yen (JPY) exchange tumbled to its lowest level in seven years. The continued depreciation of the JPY greatly stimulates people desire for visiting Japan. Coincides with the Hokkaido ski season, Hong Kong Airlines now exclusively offers Business Class passengers flying to Sapporo with free checked baggage allowance for ski equipment, encouraging them to grasp this golden opportunity and enjoy carefree skiing in Japan.

From 19 December 2014 to 18 January 2015, Business Class passengers travelling with Hong Kong Airlines to and from Sapporo can enjoy an addition of 15kg checked baggage allowance for ski equipment, allowing them to bring one snowboard/ one pair of skis, one pair of ski poles and one pair of ski boots for free.

Airbus A330-200 aircraft will be deployed on the Sapporo route, operating on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The aircraft is equipped with 24 Business Class seats in a classic 2-2-2 configuration. By reclining the seats to 155 degrees, passengers can enjoy extra comfort which is almost as good as a flat bed. Every seat also features an individual TV monitor and our state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment system to spoil you with your favorite film or other entertainment.
