SINGAPORE – Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company last week welcomed its latest aircraft, an Airbus A320 (coded VN-A662) at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Ho Chi Minh City.

The brand new Airbus A320, with Sharklet wingtips, is the eighth of the 100 aircraft order made by the airline with Airbus in September 2013. The advanced design of the aircraft, which helps reduce fuel costs and CO2 emissions is expected to boost the carrier’s efficiency and help towards protecting the environment.

With its latest addition to the fleet, Vietjet is now operating 27 brand-new and modern Airbus A320s and A321s, helping the new-age airline to improve service quality and further develop its network in Vietnam and across the Asia-Pacific region.

Vietjet currently operates 180 flights per day across 33 routes, domestically and internationally. The airline features fast and easy check-in services and high quality onboard services. Express check-in is also available at all airports for passengers over 65 years of age, expectant mothers, and families travelling with infants.
