Vietjet announces new domestic route connecting Hanoi to Chu Lai

SINGAPORE - Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company (“Vietjet”) has officially launched the operation of its flight route from Hanoi (Vietnam) to Chu Lai. The Hanoi – Chu Lai route will initially operate four round trips per week.

The newly-launched air route aims to meet the increasing demand from local and foreign tourists. It also aims strengthen links between Quang Nam province and the country’s two largest socio-economic and cultural centres, Hanoi and HCM City.

Autumn in the Northern regions of Vietnam is great experience and considered the most beautiful and romantic time for travelers to visit. The average temperature is cool at about 25 degree. Today, Hoi An is a cosmopolitan town, a culinary mecca and one of Vietnam’s most important tourism centres. The town has a well-preserved incredible legacy of Japanese merchant houses, Chinese temples and ancient tea warehouses. Alongside are modern lounge bars, boutique hotel and travel agents. A few kilometres further – there are superb bicycle, motorbike and boat trips – and some of central Vietnam’s most enticing scenery and beaches are within easy reach.

Vietjet currently operates flights from Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City. Flights depart Singapore Changi International Airport at 1.00pm (local time). Return flights from Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City depart for Singapore at 8.55am. The flight duration is 2 hours and 5 minutes.

Travelers from Singapore can then connect to Hanoi via Ho Chi Minh city before departing for Chu Lai. Vietjet has over 15 return flights daily between Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi. The flight duration is 2 hours and 5 minutes.

There are four return flights between Hanoi and Chu Lai every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Flights from Hanoi depart at 8:35am and arrive at Chu Lai at 10:00am. Return flights depart Chu Lai at 10:35am and arrive in Hanoi at 12:00pm.
