They will develop best practices in air navigation service provision to optimize air traffic flow and capacity and human performance.

They also decided to collaborate with each other to explore new air traffic management concepts to modernize the air traffic management system.

Singapore's Changi Airport has enjoyed high rate of growth recently, and"air traffic management is a critical enabler for the growth of an air hub," said Soh Poh Theen, Assistant Director- General of the CAAS. "We have implemented initiatives to enhance our capacity and performance with encouraging results, but more can be done."

NATS, which provides air traffic control to all London airports, has sufficient experience and expertise of managing high intensity air traffic operations.
