KHAO YAI PB Valley is hosting its annual Harvest Festival 7 March.
The event theme this year is “Rhythm in the Vineyard” with festivities starting at 1530 and a band performances in the evening.
To kick off the visit, the host offers a tour of the vineyards with an opportunity to see grape harvesting; a great photo opportunity even for a selfie lovers.
inside no 8After the vineyard the next stop is the winery with the opening highlight of the event; an invitation to a barrel tasting.
Food and drinks are served at the winery’s Great Hornbill Grill that commands panoramic views of the estate’s vineyards.
The wine dinner gets under way with entertainment that includes a band (hence the rhythm) and a stage show.
The festival activities including dinner and wine costs THB2,600 per person; THB4,500 net for two with a PB Membership Card and THB6,250 net for three persons.
Children aged four to 12 year are welcome at half price. They miss out on the wine.
If you plan a trip to Khao Yai, noted for cooler climes than Bangkok, then the festival is an added feature to make the trip more worthwile. Khao Yai is around 150 km from downtown Bangkok or a two-hour drive on a divided highway.
