The World Heritage Committee, meeting for its 32nd session, finished inscribing Preah Vihear Temple (Cambodia) on UNESCO?s World Heritage List on 8 July 2008.
The Preah Vihear temple, located in Northern Cambodia by the Thai border, is one of the major sites of the cultural heritage of the country. Built around the end of the 11th century or beginning of the 12th century, this site can be considered to be of very high value.
