Cambodian New Year Beach Festival 2009

To celebrate the Cambodian New Year 2009 and to create more enjoyment for domestic and international tourist, the Ministry of Tourism of Cambodia, in collaboration with Provincial Authority of Preah Sihanouk Province, Whale Group and U2 Enternainment Production Co., Ltd, will organize Cambodian New Year Beach Festival on 15 April 2009 from 09:00 till 24:00 at Ochheateal Beach, Preah Sihanouk Province.

The event offers a vast selection of the Khmer Traditional games, beach volleyballs, live concert performed by Sea Wolf Band and famous singers from Raksmey Hang Meas, M Production, international singers, comedians and firework displays, lucky draw and more.

The above colorful event is a part of the Cambodia's Tourism Branding Campaign "Cambodia -Kingdom of Wonder" and aims to widely promote the Cambodian coastal areas as a main distinct leisure attractive destination beside Angkor Wat as well as promoting Cambodian culture, tradition and civilization.
