Online App for Public Works and Transports Service Provisions Launched

AKP Phnom Penh, January 30, 2017 –

Ministry of Public Works and Transport launched today Cambodia’s first-ever online application parking its services at one click away.

Taking place at Intercontinental Hotel here in Phnom Penh, the milestone launch was chaired by Senior Minister and Minister of Public Works and Transport H.E. Sun Chanthol, with the participation of around 300 concerned government officials and representatives from embassies, banks, development partners, vehicle companies as well as driving schools.

Instant service provisions via online application includes, but does not limit with, vehicle registration and regular technical control, enrollment for driving test, and driver’s licensing.

The site shares traffic and driving lesson made it most convenient to the people, more interestingly, the application is also tailored for mobile phone access.

Through the initiative, the Royal Government of Cambodia and the Ministry of Public Works and Transport are optimistic that the mentioned service provisions will be easier, faster and transparent.
