Coca-Cola on Friday launched a new product in Cambodia, the Coca Cola Plus Coffee, after its successful launch in three other countries, namely Japan, Australia and Vietnam.

The Cambodia Beverage Company Limited, a 100-percent owned subsidiary of The Coca-Cola Company, said the new product, a creative and unique fusion of Coca-Cola’s famous, refreshing taste with pure coffee, will add to the country’s booming café culture.

“The coffee-cola hybrid is expected to become a daily companion for Cambodians, helping spark concentration in the morning and after lunch, as well as stimulating a positive spirit for studies or work,” the company said.

The new fusion is available across the country in 330 millilitres cans, containing less than half the sugar concentration of an ordinary can of Coca Cola at just 5 grams per 100 millilitres.

It has, in addition, a higher amount of caffeine at 13 millilitres per 100 millilitres, to stimulate the mind and awaken the senses, said the company.

“We are always looking for ways to bring more choice to Cambodians, hoping to satisfy their thirst and needs as they go about their busy and active lives.

“Releasing Coca-Cola Plus Coffee in Cambodia shows our understanding of what our customers are looking for in a refreshing beverage,” Kong Kosal, commercial director of Cambodia Beverage Company said.
