Loan Portfolios and Deposits of Cambodia Banks Reaches US$31 Billion

Loan portfolios and deposits of banks in Cambodia have been valued at US$31 billion by July 2018, according to the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC).

The national bank’s Governor H.E. Chea Chanto shared the figure when chairing the opening of Chef Bank, a Hong Kong-based commercial bank, recently here in Phnom Penh.

Around US$19 billion of the mentioned amount derives from deposits and is strengthening inter-financial transactions in Cambodia.
