Prime Minister Hun Sen will travel to Vietnam at the end of this week to lead a delegation to a conference concerning investments by Vietnamese entrepreneurs to Cambodia, the Foreign Ministry said. The premier will head to Ho Chi Minh City this Saturday at the invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and also travel to Binh Duong province, located immediately to the north of the city. The ministry statement said the delegation would include Commerce Minister Cham Prasidh, high-ranking government officials as well as businessmen. The conference will include a launching ceremony for the Association of Vietnamese Investors in Cambodia and a branch of the Cambodian Investors Association in Ho Chi Minh City, the state-owned Nhan Dan newspaper reported. The newspaper also cited statistics from the Vietnamese Ministry of Planning and Investment that said the country has invested more than $400 million in Cambodia this year alone.
