Raffles Hotel Conferred Best Luxury Hotel In Asia-pacific For Nine Consecutive Years

For nine years in a row, travel industry leaders and peers once again acknowledge Raffles Hotel’s unique charm and inimitable service by conferring the Grand Dame with the “Best Luxury Hotel” award in the 22nd Annual TTG Travel Awards 2011. The Annual Travel Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner was held in Bangkok, Thailand.

Presented by TTG Asia, publisher of Travel Trade Gazette (TTG), Asia and China, Business Travel (BT) Mice China and TTG Mice, the TTG Travel Awards is one of the most prestigious in the region and seeks to honour the most celebrated luminaries in Asia-Pacific’s travel milieu. Votes were received from TTG readers across Asia-Pacific, who participated in the print and online voting exercise this year. The “Best Luxury Hotel” award is one of the categories within the TTG Travel Awards.

In 2011, Raffles Hotel was also voted one of the “Top 5 City Hotels in Asia” by well-travelled readers of Travel + Leisure magazine, and selected as one of the top “Overseas Business Hotels” in the world, at seventh position, by Conde Nast Traveller magzine in the annual Readers Travel Award.
