Norwegian Owned Hotel in Cambodia Nominated for Prestigious Award

The Soria Moria Boutique Hotel in Cambodia, founded and established by Norwegian, Kristin Holdo Hansen, has been nominated for a Tourism of Tomorrow Award which is given out by The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC).

The World Travel & Tourism Councils Tourism for Tomorrow Awards are one of the highest accolades in the global Travel & Tourism industry and recognizes sustainable tourism achievements among businesses and destinations across the full spectrum of the industry.

The Soria Moria Boutique Hotel is nominated in the category “Community Benefit Entrants”, which is awarded to a hotel that directly benefits local people and supports community development and enhance cultural heritage.

All the nominated hotels have been through a three step evaluation, including an on-site visit by the international and independent judges. Winners and finalists will be recognized at WTTC’s annual Global Summit, held this year in Sendai/Tokyo, Japan from 16-19 April.
