Cruise Ship with Nearly 900 Tourists Calls At Sihanouk Ville Seaport

Crystal Serenity, a giant cruise ship, carrying nearly 900 multi-national tourists called at Sihanoukville International Sea Port, Preah Sihanouk province, on Friday morning for a one-day visit.

Of the tourists, 533 are Americans, 96 Canadians, 51 British, 37 Australians and others nationals, said a Sea Port official, adding that the visit is aimed at learning about Cambodia’s tradition, custom and culture as well as the development in this coastal province, some 230 kilometers southwest of Phnom Penh capital city.

Coming from Singapore, the 250-meter long and 32.2-meter wide cruise ship will leave Cambodia on the same day at 10:00 p.m. for Thailand, he said.
