This news should start boosting tourism in Florida and other gulf states. When media first started showing news of Oil Spill will reach Florida beaches, people panicked and they cancelled their trips. Now the news of Oil clearing should also have similar effect and attract tourists towards Florida
This is second good news for Gulf Tourism, earlier there was some hope for tourism industry after BP managed to capped the leaking oil well. It had immediate impact on Alabama Tourism. Tourism experts hope for similar kind of impact this time around as well.
Some cleaning workers on the Florida beaches said that they are having hard time finding oil on the beaches, they look clean so does the water. They spend most of the time looking for the oil instead of cleaning. They are planning to cut down the numbers of workers on each beach if situation remains the same.
