China National Tourism Administration (CNTA) Monday held a trade fair in Vietnam's capital city of Hanoi to promote tourism.
Shao Qiwei, head of CNTA said at the event that tourism cooperation and exchanges have developed fast between China and Vietnam in recent years.
Shao said he is pleased that China and Vietnam signed the 2010- 2013 tourism cooperation agreement on Tuesday. China expects to enhance tourism cooperation with Vietnam to boost the personnel exchanges between the two countries, and push forward economic, trade, culture, education and sports development, said Shao.
Hoang Duan Anh, culture, sports and tourism minister of Vietnam said Vietnam expects to strengthen cooperation with China on tapping tourism resources, building tourism infrastructure, developing human resources and holding tourism promotion activities.
Hoang said developing tourism cooperation will help Vietnamese people and Chinese people better understand each other and consolidate traditional friendship.
