Reid climbs Accor ladder

SINGAPORE  Accor has appointed Gaynor Reid as vice president of communications for Asia Pacific.
She has worked with Accor Hotels for 15 years and was most recently director communications Asia Pacific.
She will oversee both internal and external communications, together with sustainable development in the region. Reid will also sit on the group’s executive committee for Asia Pacific.
Based in Singapore, Reid will work closely with teams across the region and manage communications for the group’s network of hotels, which currently sits at 635 properties across 17 countries.

With over 25 years’ experience in journalism, marketing and PR, she was previously media relations manager for Accor in Australia. She has held seats on the committee of the Australian Society of Travel Writers, PR Taskforce for the Australian Accommodation Association and Sydney Olympic Park Marketing and PR Taskforce.
