HONG KONG Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has signed a multiple-property deal with Saphir Group for properties in Indonesia.
Properties involved in the deal are Radisson RED Jakarta CBD, Radisson RED Bali Legian Camakila, Radisson Bali Legian Camakila and Radisson Bali Tanjung Benoa.
Carlson Rezidor will introduce Radisson RED to Indonesia and almost double its hotel pipeline in this market. The two Radisson RED properties will be new builds, while the two Radisson branded properties will open by 1 January 2016.

“With this four-property deal, that includes three hotels in Bali, one of the country’s top tourist destinations, as well as one in the gateway city of Jakarta, we continue to reinforce our presence in Indonesia,” said Thorsten Kirschke, president, Asia-Pacific, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group.
Carlson Rezidor has nine hotels under development in Indonesia. The other five are Radisson Blu Bali Uluwatu, Radisson Golf & Convention Center Batam, Radisson Jakarta Cengkareng, Radisson Medan and Park Inn by Radisson Lampung.
It is official blurb on Radisson RED the group claims it offers guests a “non-traditional stay experience” that combines work and play, and is inspired by design, art, music and fashion.
Radisson RED Jakarta CBD is a 36-room new build hotel located in the heart of Jakarta, along one of the capital city’s main thoroughfares and due to open in 2019.
Radisson Bali Legian Camakila is a 120-room beachfront property due to open 1 January, 2016.
Radisson Bali Tanjung Benoa is a 190-room property featuring rooms and villas, located close to the tip of the Tanjung Benoa peninsula, in the Nusa Dua region of Bali. It will open 1 January, 2016.
