YANGON Myanmar Tourism Marketing will host FAM trips to Myanmar during the so-called green season.
Marketing and public relations gurus like to call the rainy season green based on the belief the monsoon season downpours discourage travel.
The trips are offered to travel agents, travel bloggers, travel journalists and genuine editorial staff excluding advertising and sales.
The committee said it is also possible to organise a custom-made FAM trip for media.
“This Familiarisation trip is a fantastic opportunity to get to know this amazing destination … Myanmar still has so many untold stories to be written about,” the press statement from the Myanmar Tourism Marketing reads.
