Air Cambodia (K6) Earns Prestigious Skytrax 4-Star Airline Rating

National flag carrier Air Cambodia (K6) has officially been awarded the prestigious 4-Star Airline rating by Skytrax, the international air transport research and rating organisation.

This benchmark recognition marks a major milestone in the airline’s ongoing drive to align its service standards and operational performance with those of world-class international carriers, the airline said in a press release issued on Oct. 28.

A central highlight of the Skytrax audit report was the standout performance of Air Cambodia’s frontline personnel. Auditors noted that customer service staff consistently exceeded 4-star benchmarks, citing exceptional warmth, proactive engagement, and tailored communication designed around individual passenger needs.

Skytrax ratings are widely recognised as a global benchmark for aviation service excellence, evaluating airport and cabin facilities, service consistency, and the overall passenger experience. With this accreditation, Air Cambodia joins an elite tier of internationally renowned carriers, including Air France, Emirates, Lufthansa, Air Canada, China Southern Airlines, and Vietnam Airlines.

The recognition reflects a period of accelerated growth and operational maturity for the airline, a transformation captured by two pivotal milestones: the deployment of senior flight instructors to build technical capability, and the attainment of global 4-star status.

Air Cambodia is preparing for the upcoming arrival of its initial C909 fleet alongside the scheduled integration of Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.
